Biography

 

Mike Freedman is a composer, guitarist/keyboardist and producer based out of Toronto, Ontario.  Mike received formal training through the Royal Conservatory of Music and graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in film scoring in 1990.  Mike has scored two feature films, as well as many short films, which have played at international and local film festivals. In addition, Mike has done the music for several commercials, through the company Big Ears, based out of Los Angeles.
Mike is involved in producing albums, both his own and other artists and he is currently producing two albums for the singer, Lilac Cana. Mike has also produced and recorded two CD’s of his own material as a singer/songwriter and one CD of instrumental guitar music. Mike has had his songs placed in TV and film, including the show, Dawson’s Creek.
